Mission
The Mental
Health Counselors Association of the Space Coast (MHCASC)
is an organization dedicated to advancing professional
competency, as well as clarifying and strengthening the
role of the Mental Health Counselor in our community.
Our Organization
The membership
of MHCASC is composed of psychotherapists in private
practice, employed counselors, and students. The purpose of
organizing is to strengthen the mental health counseling
profession by: encouraging licensure; continuing education:
increasing awareness and participation in the legislative
process; and enhancing relationships with other
professionals.
